The Perfect Location - Cyprus
In 2023, Ocean Lava Cyprus will take place on Sunday the 8th of October, offering Sprint & Olympic distances for both individual and team entries. The race will be held in the heart of the local community, providing a unique and exciting experience for all participants. We believe that the best triathlons are those that are held in small, picturesque places that truly capture the spirit of the sport. That's why we've chosen Cyprus as the location for our race. With its beautiful beaches, clear waters, and warm climate, Cyprus is the perfect place to hold a triathlon.
Fast and Challenging Course
The course itself is designed to be fast and challenging, with a swim leg in the Mediterranean sea, a bike leg through the scenic countryside, and a run leg along the coast. The sprint distance is a 750m swim, 20km bike and 5km run. The Olympic distance is a 1.5km swim, 40km bike, and 10km run. The race is open to all levels of athletes, whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out.
